وظيفة: Graphic Designer – مصمم جرافيك للعمل مع جمعية تنمية الغابات والمحافظة عليها

AFDC is seeking a dedicated Graphic Designer to join its team. He/She will collaborate with the communication officer to ensure that information graphics, iconography, and customized illustrations are produced on schedule and in high quality.

Main responsibilities include:

• Capability to transform researched material into aesthetically interesting, heavily detailed, and intellectually engaging images and info graphics.
• Create unique information graphics with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Design layouts with in Design and Illustrator.
• Proven track record of delivering graphic deliverables on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with communication team on a daily basis in order to track projects, clarifies needs, and ensures deadlines are reached.
• Ability to work beyond the standard timetables in order to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work within the guidelines, policies and mission of the organization and having the sense of accountability and responsibility of various projects as assigned by the NGO's management.

• Maintaining a high level of awareness of design standards and rules.
• Smart, Efficient and Professional coordination with team members.
• Performing graphic research.
• Critical orientation to time and multi-tasking.
• High capacity of meeting deadlines and having a good visual design abilities and verifiable expertise.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field.
• Demonstrate experience in a similar position (not necessary in this industry) with a similar output (info graphics) or a portfolio demonstrating an eye for detail. This position will not be considered for those who do not have a portfolio.
• Working from the office at least 3days per week (highly important)
• Knowledge of design for Social Media posts.
• Experience working in video editing and animation.
• (Web) Programming for info graphics development.
• Track record of published output and client facing experience.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years' relevant experience as a graphic designer
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills
• Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
• Fluency in Arabic and English (Oral and written) French is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Prior experience with USAID and UN Agencies funded projects is a plus.
• Proven ability to deliver on time.
• High levels of emotional intelligence, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working as a collaborate and constructive team member.
