Job Objective: 

Organizing and facilitating the general functioning of the Primary Healthcare Center in Tripoli.

Main Tasks:

  • Ensure dealing with clients/patients in a professional, objective, warm, empathetic, and responsive manner in order to promote a positive experience.
  • Greet visitors with courtesy and respect, ascertains the purpose of the visit, provide them with relevant information, and direct them appropriately.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and medical consultations.
  • Follow up with patients to complete documents on their demographic information.
  • Track the mail and mailings with the concerned medical and administrative units and departments.
  • Organize mailings and reports in order to have them signed by the concerned parties.
  • File & save all relevant documents.
  • Order and ensure the availability of stationary and all materials needed.
  • Print emails, memos, instructions, and circulars issued by the Head of the Department as per his/her directives.
  • Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
  • Perform various clerical and administrative tasks.
  • Receive cash from the patients and issue a receipt showing the received payment and hand it to the customer.
  • Maintain a copy of the receipt for the PHC records and another copy for the finance department.
  • Abide by the Community Health Corps insurance policy.
  • Perform data entry to all related data on the system.
  • Perform additional related duties as requested by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in secretarial studies or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and Internet use.
