Under the supervision of the Project Manager,
– The Entity/Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the facility.
– He/She will be accountable for the smooth operation of the facility activities in the project area meeting production timelines and targets.
– The goal is to ensure our facility is problem-free and safe so that CFW beneficiaries can work under the best conditions.
BACKGROUND
- Service Mapping & Community mobilization
- Inform key stakeholders about the project;
- Lead on the implementation of the outreach strategy;
- Conduct interviews with key enterprises and business stakeholders;
- Conduct phone interviews for beneficiary selection;[DP2]
- Safety and Security:
- Work alongside Security and maintenance, all of whom aim to ensure each CFW beneficiaries can complete their job safely.
- Ensures that buildings and grounds are clean and safe from emergencies such as fires.
- Provide security procedures like locks on doors that stay up to date.
- Supporting in the implementation of the project activities:
- Oversee and support the implementation of training activities within the centers;
- Oversee and support cash for work activities, including home-based visits;
- Collect attendance sheets;
- Record monthly results and report back to the project manager and field coordination.
- Reporting and documentation
- Ensure proper filing of attendance sheets and project documents;
- Follow up on all paperwork and reporting needed from the field;
- Conduct phone calls and follow up with beneficiaries, if necessary;
- Collect case studies and success stories according to the project guidelines.
- Accountability to Communities and Beneficiaries
The Facility manager is responsible for ensuring that all relations with the communities we work are conducted in a respectful and consultative manner. Due attention must be paid to ensuring that communities are adequately consulted and informed about Mouvement Social program objectives, activities, beneficiary selection criteria, methodologies as well as complaints and referral mechanisms. This is the responsibility of every Mouvement Social staff member.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
- Well-versed in facilities management best practices
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Good analytical/critical thinking
- BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
Previous experience with Non-governmental organizations is an advantage
