POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Project Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing all project procedures and facilitate the effective, successful planning, and implementation of the program activities and other tasks as assigned by the Project Coordinator.
MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the process of planning, development and implementation of the project
- Assist in the narrative, financial reporting of the project
- Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, bookkeeping, copying, faxing, mailing and filing related to the project, and process requests on Dynamics
- Liaise with logistics, procurement and finance departments to undertake purchase & expenditures as required for activities implementation in compliance with Caritas Lebanon’s and donor’s rules and regulations
- File and retrieve project and supporting documents, records and reports related to the project
- Keep track of referrals and counseling provided
- Contribute to the identification of the tools needed for implementing the project activities and to their development
- Actively participate to all project meetings and prepare the minutes of meeting and follow up on the action plans
Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries related to the project - Ensures collection and archiving of sources of verification, especially the contractual ones
Support staff in assigned project‐based work - Ensures quality, accuracy and confidentiality of data and the serious follow up of available guidelines.
- Monitors qualitative project implementation, ensuring successful realization and achievement of project’s objectives and indicators
Report to the Project Coordinator on a daily basis the targets reached, activities progress, obstacles, gaps, needs, complaints, etc. - Quality check, consolidation and diffusion of the reporting/request tools
- Sends minutes from all the meetings and discussions internally within the project team, with project partners and external actors
- Sends any other report upon line management request
- Reports any constraints or problems faced with the team before taking any action
- resent recommendations and suggest ideas in order to improve the quality of work
- Attend donors’ meetings when requested
- Create presentations for the meetings when requested

ACADEMIC EDUCATION
Bachelor Degree in Business Management or any related fields
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
Minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressively responsible experience
